Welcome to Jarrettsville United Methodist Church

Jarrettsville UMC is a fellowship of persons seeking to live in the fullness of God's will.

We gather each week to meet and praise Jesus Christ, the living Lord.

We rejoice to stand in the long and faithful line of people called Methodists.

We believe that the personal and social dimensions of faith are both essential.

So it is we strive to both be and make disciples. As we grow in the love and knowledge of God, we are able to discover what God desires of each of us as well as of this congregation.

Worship Services

8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
* Nursery for small children through age 5 available during the late service.

Sunday School

Sunday School for all ages is held at 9:45 a.m.

Holy Week Services
Starting with Palm or Passion Sunday and continuing through Holy Thursday and Good Friday to Easter Christians celebrate the saving events of Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection.

Palm Sunday – April 1
Palm Sunday commemorates the joyful entry of Jesus into Jerusalem only days before his crucifixion. Worship services will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Holy Thursday – April 5
We begin our journey toward the resurrection with a service on Holy Thursday at 7:00 p.m. On this night we will remember and celebrate the final supper Jesus shared with his disciples.

Good Friday – April 6
On this most sacred night we remember the means by which we are saved with a worship service at 7:00 p.m. based on the seven last words of Christ.

Easter Sunday – April 8
Christ our Lord is risen! Come celebrate with us on this most important day in the life of the church. Traditional Easter services will be at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
